Strengthening FSU’s academic reputation has been one of Chancellor’s Anderson’s most important goals.  Faculty and staff have responded effectively to achieve program accreditations and earn accolades, which are among the chief indicators of academic reputation.  The summary below provides some of the most important of these accreditations and accolades.

FSU Online Criminal Justice Program ranked # 10 in nation by May 29, 2018.

Best Values Schools ranks FSU Online Business Program # 18 in nation. May 29, 2018.

FSU named #7 of HBCUs by Best February 9, 2018

FSU ranked # 16 of the nation’s 50 most affordable online colleges by Affordable for 2018– rankings based on cost, return on investment, and  earning potential after graduation. Only two NC schools rank higher: NCSU is # 13 and UNCG is # 14. Other NC schools ranked in top 50 are: ECU – #17; WCU – #24; NCCU – #32; UNC-CH – #37.

Criminal Justice Program cited 49th in nation by U.S. News and World Reports, January 9, 2018.  (Only one other NC program included in top 50 programs and no other HBCU)

MBA Program ranked # 106 by U.S. News and World reports, January 9, 2018. (One of only five NC schools in the top 125 and only HBCU included);
